WHAT - Saskatchewan Registered Nurses' Association (SRNA) Annual Meeting

WHO - More than 150 RNs and RN(NP)s working in primary health care, public health, home care hospitals, long-term care facilities, and academic settings across the province

WHEN - Wednesday, May 3, 2006 - Highlights include the Opening Ceremonies from 8:30 to 9:00, an address by the Honourable Minister of Health Len Taylor from 12:15 to 12:45 and the formal business meeting from 13:00 to 16:00

Background

The SRNA is the professional regulatory body for registered nurses in the province. Founded in 1917, the SRNA represents the largest group of health professionals in the province with almost 9,000 practising members. The SRNA speaks out on health care issues on behalf of registered nurses and the public.

SRNA President, Fay Puckett, RN and Executive Director, Donna Brunskill, RN will be available following the conclusion of the annual meeting at 1600 to meet with the media.
