BACKGROUND:
The SRNA is the professional regulatory body for registered nurses in Saskatchewan. Founded in 1917, the SRNA represents the largest group of health professionals in the province with over 9,000 members. The SRNA is the official voice of nursing in the province, speaking out on health care issues on behalf of nurses and the public.
Today, over 9,000 members are registered with the Association compared to the 317 members who were entered into the first Register in 1917.
SRNA Executive Director Donna Brunskill, RN will be available for media interviews from 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm.
