"Patient Safety" - Focus of the First Joint Health Professions Conference

Regina, September 11, 2007 - Featuring collaborative solutions to pressing health challenges, the Interdisciplinary Health Care Conference - "Collaborative Care Models to Advance Patient Safety" opens September 14, 2007. Co-hosted by the Saskatchewan College of Pharmacists (SCP), the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses' Association (SRNA) and the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CPSS), the conference will bring together over 300 Saskatchewan health professionals. The conference features numerous presentations and concurrent sessions on collaborative practice and patient safety.

Sidorchuk is the Patient Safety Officer for the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority and has earned a reputation as one of Canada's leading advocates for patient safety.
