Saskatchewan Registered Nurses' Association

The SRNA is conducting an anonymous survey to receive your feedback regarding the possible adoption of the NEW Canadian Nurses Association (CNA) Code of Ethics for Registered Nurses, 2017.

The Code of Ethics “is a statement of the ethical values of the nurse and of nurses’ commitments to person with health care needs and persons receiving care” (CNA, Code of Ethics for Registered Nurses, 2017).

The Code is intended to apply to registered nurses in all domains of practice including clinical practice, education, administration, research and policy.

A summary of the feedback will be shared with the SRNA Council to inform their decision on the adoption of the NEW Code of Ethics.

At this time, SRNA members continue to be held accountable to the 2008 CNA Code of Ethics.
