STEPS TO SASKATCHEWAN GRADUATE NURSE OR RN REGISTRATION LICENSURE

  1. Enroll in final year of SRNA Approved Basic Nursing Education Program. Your program will provide you with copies of the necessary SRNA application forms at the appropriate time.
  2. Three months prior to the R.N. examination writing date submit:
    1. Application for Registration form and fee
    2. Examination Application form and fee
    3. Birth Certificate
    4. Copy of current photo ID
    5. Change of Name Forms (e.g. marriage certificate)
  3. Successfully complete the Nursing Education Program
  4. Following program completion the Program Head/Dean forwards:
    1. Official transcript
    2. Recommendation by Nursing Program.
  5. You are now eligible to apply for a Graduate Nurse Licence.
  6. Write RN Examination
  7. RN results will be received in mail approximately 3-5 weeks after the writing date. Passing results will be accompanied by Initial Registration/Licensure form.
  8. You are considered licenced to practise at the time the registration/licensure fee and correctly completed form are received at the SRNA office.
