STEPS TO SASKATCHEWAN GRADUATE NURSE OR RN REGISTRATION LICENSURE
- Enroll in final year of SRNA Approved Basic Nursing Education Program. Your program will provide
you with copies of the necessary SRNA application forms at the appropriate time.
- Three months prior to the R.N. examination writing date submit:
- Application for Registration form and fee
- Examination Application form and fee
- Birth Certificate
- Copy of current photo ID
- Change of Name Forms (e.g. marriage certificate)
- Successfully complete the Nursing Education Program
- Following program completion the Program Head/Dean forwards:
- Official transcript
- Recommendation by Nursing Program.
- You are now eligible to apply for a Graduate Nurse Licence.
- Write RN Examination
- RN results will be received in mail approximately 3-5 weeks after the writing date. Passing results
will be accompanied by Initial Registration/Licensure form.
- You are considered licenced to practise at the time the registration/licensure fee and correctly completed
form are received at the SRNA office.
