Registration Now Open for Voices in Action: A Time for Resilience & Reinvention
For more than 40 years, the SRNA has hosted a conference focused on emerging health topics as they relate to the nursing landscape in Saskatchewan. In November 2019, the SRNA Council shared the unanimous decision to strengthen the pillars of nursing by moving towards a single mandate and support the establishment of an independent association for registered nursing in Saskatchewan. This move to a separate association is a proactive approach in recognition of the need for a strong advocacy voice for the profession. Having a clearly defined third pillar in registered nursing will help ensure regulatory excellence, bring clarity to the work of an independent association and strengthen the profession of registered nursing overall.
This year, we are proud to present our conference in a virtual format from September 28 to October 9. By strengthening this important bridge between the public, policy makers and registered nurses, we will develop a common goal and vision for the profession of registered nursing, provide a strong voice for registered nursing in Saskatchewan by joining our thoughts, ideas and efforts and give more power and credibility to the profession. We welcome the public, partners and SRNA members to come together during this time of historical transition to strengthen the pillars of nursing by moving towards a single mandate and support the establishment of an independent association.
