SRNA Paves the Way to Excellence

With the transition to an entirely regulatory-focused organization, a new Mission and Vision have been created and came into effect January 1, 2021. These statements outline the purpose of the organization and will guide the direction of the organization as it moves forward. The Values of the SRNA have remained unchanged and lay the foundation for our new Mission and Vision to be achieved.

The updated Mission of the SRNA is, to protect the public through regulatory excellence. Additionally, the revised Vision of the SRNA is to be, recognized as a leader in regulatory excellence. These statements are also joined by the Strategic Endpoints, which are objectives that the SRNA intends to achieve and uphold with the focus of each being the protection and interest of the public. These updated statements reflect the SRNA’s commitment to protecting the public by promoting good practice, holding registered nurses accountable to safe and effective practice and engaging with the public to incorporate your perspective and expectations into our regulatory work.

In the coming months, the SRNA will also undergo a rebranding which will include a name change.
