Building a Network for Nursing
There are various specialties within the profession of nursing and many SRNA members that are passionate about a variety of topics and areas of practice. Professional Practice Groups (PPG) give SRNA members the opportunity to create and be a part of various member groups that provide access to a community in a specialized area of nursing. They allow nurses to connect with one another to strengthen their knowledge in their practice, access conferences and virtual webinars for continuous learning and access to national associations.
Currently there are 10 active member groups, that are always eager and interested in having additional members join. Some groups, including the Mental Health Professional Practice Group post consistent resources to their website, for use by nurses, but also the public. If you’re interested in discovering the types of resources available, you can find them on our PPG webpage.
