RN Standards and Foundation Competencies – New Draft

The newly revised RN Standards and Foundation Competencies serve the SRNA’s mandate of public protection by describing both practice standards that assist RNs to make safe and effective decisions in nursing practice, and the competencies required for entry-level registered nurses to earn licensure to practice. The SRNA is currently conducting a consultation process to gain feedback on the structure of the standards and overarching principles.
