Call for Resolutions for Annual Meeting

Get ready for the SRNA 2019 Annual Meeting on May 2, 2019!

We encourage all members to submit resolutions to raise issues for consideration by Council. Resolutions allow SRNA members to provide input on issues facing the profession or on initiatives in which SRNA could be involved, and can relate to any area of practice, education, administration, research, role of the SRNA or role of RNs and NPs within health care. As a profession-led association, your input on SRNA’s initiatives and your perspectives on issues are essential to helping advance, innovate and optimize our profession. Resolutions are an important tool that help shape our focus. The subject of a resolution must be within the scope of the legislated authority of the SRNA, and align with the mission of the SRNA.

Resolutions can be presented to the SRNA Council, by person, group, annual or special meeting assembly. Resolutions can be presented to Council at any time or brought forward at the Annual Meeting as a motion from the floor. Issues addressed as resolutions should be those that warrant discussion by the general membership. The deadline for resolutions from the floor at the Annual Meeting is 10 am on May 2, 2019.
